In
the event services or activities are impacted by inclement weather,
the following actions will take place:
1.
The Pastor, in consultation with the Deacon, Deaconess
and Trustee Chairpersons will make a decision to hold/not hold services
(by 5:00 a.m.) and activities (as soon as possible). If
services and/or activities take place, no further action will be
taken.
2.
If services and/or activities are cancelled
you will be contacted by your zone Deacon or Deaconess.
3. In addition to phone calls, to the maximum extent
possible, notices will be placed on the church answering machine,
Website and Local Radio and News Stations. (Please note that because
media outlets are not obligated to announce our closure or change
in activities, this form of communication should be considered a
supplement and not primary notification source.)
